Will Skinner was born in Newport Beach, California in 1976 and grew up in Orange County. He attended the University of California, San Diego, majoring in psychology and minoring in visual art. After graduating in 1998, Will wrote for Golf Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, the Orange County Register and other publications. He also contributed to several Internet sites including sidewalk.com and channelone.com, where he was Associate Producer.

In 2001, Will turned his attention to his first love, art, and co-founded the Spurgeon Art Gallery in the Artist Colony area of Santa Ana, California. His photographic exhibits were displayed in several galleries and his work was described by one critic as "the boldest use of the camera in 60 years."

Will has also worked in television and film in Hollywood, where he served as, among other things, Assistant Director, Set Decorator and Prop Master for commercial shoots, independent films and even adult cable entertainment. During this time he wrote, produced and directed his own short films, which showed in festivals throughout Southern California.

Will currently works as an attorney with offices in LA and San Diego. He spends his free time on his many hobbies.
